I go to the office leaving the ingredients ready on the top of my white kitchen waiting for the lunch break for the working of the mix: medium difficulty, preparation time 15 minutes ... ... feasible.
only drawback: I wear a white linen shirt that will end up spending the whole night to soak nell'omino white! So
stamp card and in no time I find myself mixing brown sugar, butter and ... .. lemon zest grated biological (here we go again, if my friend gives me another challenge where I have the grating coupled) (ah, we never stated that the recipes are a challenge that we set off each other, we choose the cake that the other will have to prepare, so it's definitely more challenging and fun).
The first moment I experience discomfort immediately, the recipe says "until the mixture is the consistency swollen and frothy", my swollen ... it does not compound the foam, after 10 'minutes I have to resign and, with the lower lip a teaspoon, I add the egg yolks, flour, lemon juice and last but not least the milk that cause the explosion drops of batter that will force me to a quick change of shirt before returning to the office from a lunch break without lunch.
And so after three more hours of work, turn off the pc, I put the practices in the cabinet, stamp the exit and travel back in my white kitchen Whip the egg whites until stiff. So join them slowly to the mixture that will end in a buttered pan to bake in water bath.
The result is not the best. Introducing the cake on the table in the same pan after baking sprinkled with icing sugar and cocoa, but the time spent in the oven was not enough ... or something did not work. The sweet, good on the surface, has been lax Internally, too bad. Baking in a water bath brat!
